I am in San Ramon this weekend taking my second computer class towards a Masters in Education with a focus on Technology in the classroom. The first class was fabulous learning in details how to do different methods of a powerpoint, a brochure of my fifth grade classroom, planning a trip to Ireland via the internet. This second class I have learned about different search engines, setting up a metasite, learning about the positive and negative aspects of social networking sites, learning how to create a webquest. I am learning how to set a blog so that I can communicate with my friends, also it is part of my mid-term project.
Your blog looks great! I liked your picture of the Lesley campus and it sounds like your head is getting overfilled with new learning. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteHi, Your blog is very easy to read. What are you currently thinking about. At this time of year, my thoughts turn to grades, and the need for patience with parents and students. A friend of mine highly recommends training students to self-assess their own work.
ReplyDeleteShe tells them that if their assessment isn't similar to hers, they will need to discuss the reasons for the discrepancy. This supports honesty.
I will check back later, to see what is on your mind.
Hey, this is a good start. Just keep writing and practicing and you'll be blogging in your sleep! Mazel tov!!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI'm back. Classes are over, and I am getting ready to tutor and complete the work for this class.
Tell me about your love of bears. Where have you been to see them? I have seen them at Yosemite as a child. Not so much in the past 15 years though.
take care (Janet=sadiekeeper)
